What We Do
As parents we strive to provide on hand
experience and information to carers, parents and
families touched by those who have Down’s Syndrome.
A warm friendly welcome can be found at all our
events where families can socialise with like-minded
people.
We offer a speech and language therapy service which
has been designed to meet the needs of children with
Down’s Syndrome. Currently our therapists are able
to support children between the ages of birth until
13 years and our therapy is provided during the
school term. For more information feel free to get
in touch and we would be happy to arrange an
assessment completed by one of our therapists. BBC
Children in Need kindly awarded us funding which has
resulted in us being able to continue to provide
this very important service. |

Our Music Club gives our children with Down’s Syndrome
and their siblings an opportunity to dance, sing and laugh
while improving their physical, social and speech
development.
The Activitors and The Champions are our drama groups
which provide a fun way for our youngsters to socialise,
build self-confidence, develop communication skills and use
their imagination while our parents are able to take
advantage of the short break provided. Wokingham Borough
Aiming High kindly awarded us funding to ensure our children
with Down’s Syndrome are able to continue to enjoy this
fantastic activity which our parents receive their short
break.
Our Little Darlings Coffee Morning is a lovely way for
parents to get together to swop stories, good and bad, with
parents in the same situation.

How can you help?
Get involved! That's it - couldn't be more simple!
Come to events even if you may not participate. Pop into
the coffee morning, you don’t have to go every week. Tell us
what you want or think would be a great activity or event
for fund raising. This way we can all support each other
then when things are a bit tough you've got someone who
understands and that alone is a really big bonus!
