We contract with Diversity Drama in Action to provide a
junior (4-10 years) and senior (10-16 years) drama group for
children with Down Syndrome. The aim of the groups is to
promote confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills
while providing the opportunity for the children with Down
Syndrome to socialise together. The children play theatre
games, use imaginative play, dance and sing action songs
with a different theme each term. At the end of each term
the families and friends of the children are invited into
the group to see what they have been working on.
